About the symposium

1 p.m.鈥5 p.m.: The Toolbox

This three-part pre-symposium workshop was designed to be a collaborative lab for experimentation and problem-solving.

Part 1: Engaging International Students and Tracking Their Experience During Their Studies

Part 2: Measuring International Graduate Outcomes in Canada

Part 3: Measuring International Graduate Outcomes Internationally

Through case studies and open dialogue, participants will explore the challenges of tracking students鈥 participation in experiential learning and work-integrated learning during their studies, as well as the evolving approaches to measuring outcomes for international graduates. Each session brings stakeholders together to identify data gaps, examine systemic limitations and co-develop practical solutions. Specifically, you鈥檒l be invited to:

  • share your data collection and analysis methods
  • share useful indicators for measuring the impact of experiential learning
  • discuss the challenges of including international students in your experiential programs
  • co-develop ideas on how to make these experiences more accessible and equitable
