Honouring Red Dress Day
May 5, 2025 — All day
The University of Ottawa Indigenous Medical Learners Association will present a display of red dresses in the Atrium of Roger Guindon Hall on Monday, May 5 to honour Red Dress Day and the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people (MMIWG2S+).

Honouring Red Dress Day
Inspired by the REDress Project by M茅tis artist Jaime Black, the display serves as a visual reminder to honour and remember the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls across Canada.
You are invited to come together in viewing the display to reflect upon the crisis and to learn more about addressing it. You are encouraged to wear red such as a red beaded pin, earrings, etc. as an expression of solidarity and to raise awareness of the crisis.
