Deferred and supplemental exams schedule

This schedule is for deferred exams offered in October, February and July. For the deferred exams in December and April, consult the final exams schedule.

Exam centres for online courses

Some Summer 2025 courses (MCG2108, MCG2130, MCG2360, MCG3307, CVG2149, CVG2181 and SEG3125/3525) are offered online. However, you must write the midterm and final exams for these courses in person. You have three options for writing your exams:

on campus at the University of Ottawa
at an approved exam centre in Canada (upon request)
during the deferred exam period in October 2025.

How to request an exam centre

If you plan to write your exam at an off-campus location, you must complete the “Request to write an exam in an approved exam centre” form. You need to submit this form a minimum of three weeks before your exam date and include all the required information in your submission

There are many approved exam centres across Canada. To help you with your search, we’ve compiled a list of centres available in each of Canada’s provinces and territories. This list is a sample of approved Canadian test centres — it’s not exhaustive. Other test centres may be accepted if they’re accredited and approved.
