The University of Ottawa Centre for Law, Technology and Society is seeking a creative and driven Administrative Assistant to support its operational and institutional communications needs.
We are seeking a candidate that could support the following functions:
Membership and community management
Organize and archive the Centre鈥檚 files
Support the management of the Centre鈥檚 facilities
Support the transfer and backup of institutional archives
Update our websites and create content
Translate institutional communications
Write news and other announcements
Reporting to the Director and collaborating with the Centre鈥檚 staff, the Assistant will join the growing team and dynamic community of the University of Ottawa鈥檚 Centre for Law, Technology and Society, Canada鈥檚 leading research group in technology law, ethics and policy. The Assistant will be working both in French and English and perform all duties autonomously and proactively.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Minimum qualifications: Bilingualism (French & English); Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills in one of the two languages (preferably in both).
Assets: Knowledge of OneDrive, Google Drive, Slack and Microsoft Teams; Knowledge of Drupal and/or Wordpress.
Eligibility: The candidate must be enrolled as a student at 91桃色, preferably within the Faculties of Law, Arts, Social Sciences, or Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates who qualify for the Work-Study Program.
